Wearing a Lace

Blame Kate Middleton and her penchant for your pretty fabric but lace is everywhere. Continued from last season now it's less about saturated, sophisticated colours and much more about wide-eyed innocence. From fine French lace to hand-crafted broderie anglaise, acid tones to lace held in latex there's just one thing to do… Get it done.

Luxe Lace

Pile it on and mix things up. Delicate trimmed lace with pretty raw cut edges teamed having a heavy lace mini. It is all about contrast; delicacy with density, antique with modern. A Joanne Hynes crystal collar provides a dash of sparkle and Jeffrey Campbell Lita's add the right dose of stripper to counterbalance the lace! All is here balance…

Black Magic

You'll find nothing sexier than the usual pair of well cut trousers. Seriously, when you are used to residing in skinny jeans you forget how good they think against the skin and exactly how empowering they may be! Choosing black immediately makes lace sexy. Layer a slick lace blazer more than a sheer top with lace trim to complete it off. The feel trip makes lace feel modern.

Acid
Tailoring and lace are a fantastic combo - like boy and girl, bangers and mash, Rumi Neely and Bryan Boy! Button up a crisp white shirt therefore the baby doll dress feels less twee. As you can tell I'm struggling to obtain past my penchant for neon, and neon and lace really are a match produced in Christopher Kane's vision of heaven. Gimpy stance optional…
