Delphine Charlotte Parmentier a designer of high end jewelry and fancy accessories works with big couture houses to name like Christian Lacroix, Balenciaga, Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin, Daniel Swarovski, Thierry Mugler
and Valentino.
She has her own brand and the head of 45 employees on a Paris-based studio. She quoted to RelaxNews how her collections came about after taking time in between the two runway shows she had.
Delphine explained that one month and its almost deadline they were still looking for inspiration on the collection and the designs creation had a limited time. Working on it of its last 15 days everything was in a rush. The fitting session and and the very tight schedule validated the process yet the deadline was set for the delivery of the orders which the whole of Delphine's team was required to give their 100% to make it.
As further asked by RelaxNews, On how long was the process of creating one piece from its collection. She explained that each of their creations was especially handmade and full attention to details and its design was a top priority and that is what they pride of their designs in haute couture.
There was a lot of stress filling in Delphine's system aside that of its team which explains why they have a stopwatch in their studio. Though all of it was a worthy experience once they see it being used in the runway show everything was just something.
The month of October will be a busy month for Delphine and her team as they will start to present a retrospective show of her creations from the last 20 years. Places like New York, Paris, London, Vienna and Tokyo is where the event will take place.
